Angela Godin is curious by nature. Ever since she was young, she loved exploring how things work and constantly asking "why?" That curiosity started with her dad, who always had her by his side while he repaired electronics, fixed things around the house, or explored the latest technology. Looking back, that's where her love of problem-solving began.

She is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em Horns!) with Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Medical Technology before eventually making her home in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she's lived for more than 25 years.
 

Her professional career took her into healthcare technology, where she spent more than two decades helping startups and organizations turn complex data into meaningful insights. Along the way, she developed expertise in systems thinking, data analysis, process improvement, and operational excellence. More importantly, she discovered that she genuinely enjoy bringing order to complexity:  organizing information, improving processes, and helping people make confident decisions based on reliable data.

 

Making a positive impact has always been important to her. Whether through her work or by volunteering with local nonprofit organizations, she believes strong communities are built when we support one another. Helping people succeed, whether that's through better financial organization or community service, is one of the most rewarding parts for Angela.

Those are just some things that led Angela to start Godin Bookkeeping LLC. She believes bookkeeping is about much more than recording transactions. It's about giving business owners clarity and confidence. When their financial records are accurate, organized, and up to date, they can spend less time worrying about the numbers and more time focusing on growing their business and serving their customers. Angela's goal is to become a trusted partner who helps business owners understand where their business stands so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

Outside of work, she usually is with a crochet project in hand. She's been crocheting since she was a teenager, and it has become her favorite creative outlet. She loves the process of taking individual stitches and turning them into something beautiful and useful. In many ways, it's a lot like bookkeeping: patience, attention to detail, and creating something strong from many small pieces. Whether she is making blankets, sweaters, or trying a challenging new pattern, she enjoys the satisfaction of seeing everything come together.
